CME Opportunity for MOA Members:

The Maine Osteopathic Association (MOA) is excited to announce a collaborative CME effort with the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS). Titled “Simply CME,” the event will be held virtually on Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 8 am – 5 pm CST. Simply CME is just that - eight lectures on a variety of timely topics, available online for your safety and convenience. MOA members Brian Kaufman, DO & Merideth Norris, DO will present on “Busting the Myths Around Opioids and Chronic Pain Management.” Attendees can attend the virtual event “live” on November 21 and experience engagement with the speakers via chat and questions or, if you’re busy that day (or part of it), register and have access to the programs on-demand through January 3, 2021. Both AOA Category 1-A and AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM are available upon completion of the program and attestation to your attendance. The cost for MOA members* is $199 –select the member rate when you register (membership will be verified).

MAOPS is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. MAOPS designates these programs for a maximum of 8 AOA Category 1-A CME credits and will report CME commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
