MOA Female Entrepreneurship in Medicine Group

Join in for the second meeting of a new group led by the Maine Osteopathic Association focused on discussion of Female Entrepreneurship in Medicine!

The group, comprised of a growing list of female DOs you know with varied independent practice models and specialties is working on planning future educational sessions and building resources on topics such as:

• Brainstorming & envisioning new ways to practice medicine -- with greater balance & benefit to all.
• The practicalities of building your own practice. Business plans, outlines, HR, EHRs, equipment, financing, spreadsheets, etc.
• Mentorship: Lessons Learned, mistakes, bad advice, etc.

Above all the goal of these conversation is to provide space to discuss all of the intricacies of the above with mentors who have been there! Whether you are interested in branching out or just want to network and connect, feel free to join us.
