Call for Speakers: Maine Osteopathic Association's 2024 Midwinter Symposium 

Hybrid Event In-Person & Online | February 9-11th, 2024 | Hilton Garden Inn, Freeport, ME

Event Overview:
The Maine Osteopathic Association (MOA) is pleased to announce the call for speaker submissions from individuals or groups interested in presenting at the 2024 Midwinter Symposium. The event will take place in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and virtual attendance options. The symposium is a premier platform for osteopathic physicians, and other clinicians, educators, researchers, and students to share knowledge, insights, and advancements in osteopathic medicine. We invite dynamic speakers to contribute to our symposium's educational program, fostering professional growth and enriching the osteopathic community. Read full instructions on submissions here.


Submission Guidelines:
Speaker or topic submissions are welcomed from individuals with expertise in osteopathic medicine, allied health, and related disciplines. Submissions should include the following required components:

  • Proposed Session Title
  • Proposed Learning Objectives
  • Session Description, including teaching methods/techniques
  • CV(s) of proposed presenters involved in the presentation

Submission Process:
Speaker submissions should be sent electronically to Amanda Mahan, Executive Director of the Maine Osteopathic Association, at [email protected]. The subject line should read: "Speaker Submissions - 2024 Midwinter Symposium."


All submissions will be reviewed by the MOA Professional Education Committee. Submitters can expect to receive a response within 30 days of the submission. All submissions must be received by: 10/31/2023
