 Volunteer Sign Up

Are you interested in volunteering at this event in exchange for FREE lodging at the Jordan Hotel at Sunday River?

  • Who is eligible and what do we need? Osteopathic students, fellows and residents are welcome to apply to volunteer at MOA events. Registration for the event is free for all students, fellows, residents.  Meals and lodging will be provided to selected volunteers.
  • What would I do as a volunteer?   Residents and fellows typically run our OMM Volunteer Treatment Service (with faculty preceptors when necessary). Students help MOA staff with tasks like staffing the registration table, assisting moderators & making announcements, running exhibit hall door prize raffles, capturing event photos & social media content, organizing OMT treatment scheduling,  etc. Expect to commit to at least a morning or afternoon shift each day during the event (Fri-Sun).
  • Why volunteer? Our volunteers get one on one time with MOA staff, board members, attendees and speakers at our event. Network with the Maine osteopathic community and with leaders from other orgs! You will make lasting connections -- and have fun! Feel free to schedule time to hit the slopes or enjoy Sunday River when you are not scheduled to volunteer.
  • No need to book your lodging yet -- if you are chosen MOA staff will assign it for you. Whether or not you are chosen to volunteer, you can register for the event for free via the above website.

Volunteer slots are very limited, so sharing rooms is encouraged -- ask a friend to join you! Volunteers will be selected and notified in early to mid January.
